Public Iran´s news agency, Mizan, shared pictures of Majid Reza Rahnavard´s dead body right after being killed. The picture shows his body hanging on a construction crane at sunrise. He was condemned to death after being considered guilty of killing two safety agents. He was 23 years old and well-known wrestling sportsman. It took less than one month; from the time he was arrested to the execution day.
This is the second hanging in one week. A few days earlier, Moshen Shekari, 23-year-old, was also killed after he was considered guilty of attacking an Islamic soldier with a knife.

Amir Nasr-Azadani, 26 years old, is a soccer player, also condemned to death because of his support to protests that are growing in the country. He was arrested, according to news agencies, by participating in a armed riot where three security agents were killed.
More people including Iran´s church priests are questioning how the sentences were decided and have serious doubts on its validity.
Iran´s soccer national team could also go to prison, eventually condemned to death, because of not singing the national anthem at the beginning of their first game in Qatar soccer world cup. Their families were also threatened with torture if the players did not sing the national anthem.
Protests initiated and are widely spreading after 22-year-old Mahsa Amini´s was killed back in September. She was arrested when travelling with her family. Captured by morality police and accused of breaking Iran´s laws not covering her hair, arms and legs with loose clothes.

She was sent to prision and died in a hospital after three days in coma.
Those cases might be just a small picture of what is happening in Iran. United Nations and human rights organizations, believe about 450 people have died and about 14.000 arrested since protests started in September.
Lets keep this in our minds and support in the way we can, what those brave men and women are doing. Hopefully one day there will be no need for protests and no more people is killed in the name of religion, gender, politics or his/her own beliefs.
